About Poway Skatepark

State law requires that helmets, elbow pads, and knee pads be worn at all times when at the skate park. Skates, roller blades, and skateboards are the only items allowed in the skate park. A guardian must supervise children twelve and younger.

The skate park is subject to closures due to rainy or inclement weather, maintenance, special events and violations of skate park rules.

Access to the Poway Skate Park is controlled via a biometric scanner located at the turnstile entrance to the skate bowl.  Staff will be happy to register you during business hours; Monday-Saturday: 8:00am-9:00pm or Sundays: 12:00pm-9:00pm in the Poway Community Park recreation office (located across from the tennis courts). To download a registration form click here. For more information, please call (858) 668-4671.

To disenroll from the biometric scanner so that you no longer have access to the Poway Skate Park, fill out the disenrollment form and submit it to the Community Park recreation office. To download a disenrollment form click here.

How does a biometric scanner work and how is my information protected?
